The music box is in the reception area at the Jim Henson studios in LA/Hollywood. As you can see, I got some reflection from the glass cases it's in. There's also some props from Dark Crystal in there and the statue of Jareth from Sarah's desk (see gallery).
Wow, this is an amazing shot of the music box. My friend has always wanted this, so I'm going to try and make it for her. If I'm able to; it'll be because of this pic. This is the best pic I've seen yet, so detailed!
Fantastic! If you do manage to make one (which would be awesome!) please post some pictures on here! I'm glad my photos will be of help. I wish I could have gotten some more angles, but this is in the front office and there was a desk and a very nice receptionist in the way >.<
Ive always loved this music box, though u can see alot of it is broken like the spring that was holding the doll up is missing and the golden balls at the very top of the frame work are gone, also i would like to add that in the movie the doll actually had no face make up what so ever :l
This is amazing. I haven't even seen anyone who has ever attempted to make it. Truly beautiful and I'd so buy one too. Even if they did like a limited edition of like 1000 I'm pretty sure they'd all sell so they wouldn't have to do mass production which might cost a lot.
I told our guide Joe (who works on the Labyrinth manga) that I would totally buy one if they made them because I couldn't find even a normal music box that played "As the World Falls Down." Maybe I'll get my wish?
